I am a creative minimalist currently practicing interior design in Los Angeles. I was born and raised in Santa Ynez, CA. Excelling at art and with a keen sense of spatial awareness, I always wanted to be an interior designer. Pursuing my dream, I traveled across country to study Interior Architecture at the University of Cincinnati. After graduating in 2011 with numerous internships under my belt, I moved to San Francisco. I had the pleasure of working with the colorful Pamela Babey at BAMO. Most recently I worked with Steven Volpe at Steven Volpe Design, where I managed many important projects. Steven's knowledge of art, history of furniture, and minimal style had a profound impact on my vision. My experience ranges from residential, hospitality, corporate, aviation, and graphic design, although my true passion lies within the residential field.
I have an affinity for finding beauty within the tangible world. My process is heavily based on user interaction and experiential design. I view space as a platform for communication, whether it be expressing a brand, narrative, or a client's vision. Materiality, proportions, historic references, and thoughtfully executed details are my strengths. I strive to produce warm minimal environments that are rich in substance and textures.
